A WORD FROM OUR DIRECTORS
“A somewhat unique and distinguishing characteristic of DASMA is our commitment to establish and develop long term relationships with not only our valued clients, but also our employees, local communities, and our shareholders. In this respect we contend that DASMA has a competitive advantage over many of our service competitors.
While others may pursue the same objectives for as long as there are dividends returned to the shareholders, we as a family company are able to continue the investment of our resources for as long as we believe the destination, and the rewards remain attainable.
The ability to sustain the pursuit of long term strategies allows DASMA to develop long term mutually rewarding partnerships with our clients, local communities, employees, and family shareholders. This commitment is demonstrated by the investment we have made in leading edge technologies and equipment, resources, increased organisational capability, and the sponsorship of community sporting facilities.
Strong customer focus and teamwork, excellent business practices, highly experienced and caring people, and a willingness to invest in quality outcomes in everything we do are DASMA hallmarks.
The pursuit of high quality service outcomes is only possible with the participation, skill, teamwork, loyalty, and the commitment of dedicated employees. I am proud and confident to say that all attributes exist in the DASMA workforce. I am very proud of the fact that DASMA has now successfully operated for over forty (40) years; we still possess the vision, drive, organisational and leadership capabilities to ensure that we will continue to grow next forty (40) years.
Finally can I emphasize that DASMA understand the ever increasing environmental, natural resource, and business sustainability challenges which we all face. DASMA as an organisation is totally committed to a long term investment in our common future, and in this regard we will continue to invest in leading technologies, workforce capability, and in the development of industry and government partnerships to improve business, environmental and community outcomes.”
Following in the footsteps of his father, Alfie DiSipio has brought a new generational approach to doing business within the Dasma Group of companies.
This amalgam of all the best of the old and the new has seen the Dasma group keep pace with the changing conditions within the business sectors in which we operate, making Dasma relevant and focused on its key objectives.
Alfie DiSipio has a vast knowledge in waste management, specialised services and the construction and building sectors. Alfie’s enthusiasm for the waste industry and the environment will ensure that the Dasma Group will be remain a strong results driven organisation into the future.
Established on the solid foundations built by previous generations, Dasma welcomes a new face to the company. Complying with the generational approach taken by grandfather Fred and father Alfie, it would only be right for myself to assume the Dasma name.
Incorporating the objectives of those before myself, I aim to keep Dasma allign with the forever changing industry and embrace a strong customer focus that distinctively marks Dasma from many of its service competitors.
In joining Dasma, I aim to continue developing our excellent working relationship with our respected clients, employees, Stakeholders, and local community. These relationships however, can only be strongly supported through maintaining our focus on delivering new technologies and infrastructure, and by training and investing in our people.
I deeply believe that purpose and motivation, when clearly articulated and acknowledged, initially collaborate to construct any healthy organisation. Using these principles within the complex framework that Dasma upholds, the quest for high quality service is without doubt our most championed value.
Along with high quality service, I personally aim for DASMA to be the industrial service and waste management company most admired for its people, partnership, and production in the Gippsland district. Although service is not only limited to this region, I undeniably believe we are truly on route to deliver.
I hope to endeavour in building a strong relation with Dasma, following in the footsteps of my grandfather and father to ensure long-term business sustainability and a widely recognized image.
